Mt.Fuji & Fuji 5 Lakes

Mt. Fuji is a conical volcano which has not been active since 1708 and the highest mountain at a height of 3,776 meters (12,389 feet) in Japan. The mountain and Fuji Five Lakes area is one of the National Parks. The mountain is officially open to climbers from July 1 through August 31.

Besides climbing and seeing glorious views of the mountain, there are various ways to enjoy in this region such as riding a pleasure boat, walk in nature, fishing, playing tennis, cycling along the lakes or going to the exciting amusement park in Fuji Yoshida City. Fuji area appeals to family groups.
